(Conditional) Maerchenhaft Power: Tangled Web - allows Nobita to summon larger versions of cat's cradle figures as long as he's forming them with real string. The strings of those figures are strong enough that they can be used as ropes for climbing or binding.

Character Personality (3 Strengths, 2 Weaknesses): Most of the traits you get from Nobita at first glance are certainly negative ones. He doesn't like to fight at all, and mostly tries to run away from bullies. He's often late to school, and sleeps in class a lot, so he naturally gets low grades. And he's naturally clumsy and unathletic.

However, Nobita actually has an adventurous streak, as well as a courage one would not expect of him. When his friends are threatened, especially his love interest Shizuka, he immediately steps up to protect them, his cowardliness seeming to disappear almost like magic.

Shizuka can also be a motivator for more mundane things. Plenty of times, he has done ridiculous stuff to impress her, even if his attempts backfire at times. At other times, he can end up promising to do something ridiculous simply due to being too stubborn or prideful. And he will try to keep any promises he makes, unless doing so would hurt more people.

Nobita is also not as stupid as he looks. While he's definitely lazy, he can actually do quite well on his schoolwork if properly motivated, possibly by one of Doraemon's gadgets. He's also shown an ability to think up clever plans for dealing with various enemies in the movies. He does seem to do poorer with regards to book-based knowledge, but pointing out this fact tends to upset him a lot.

All of Nobita's friends are very important to him, whether they are the ones he has grown up with or ones he encounters on his journeys. Despite some friction at times, he still considers Gian and Suneo, the neighborhood bullies, to be his friends, and is usually willing to offer help to them when they ask. As for those he befriends on his journeys, he has always promised to remember them, and has considered all of them just as precious, whatever they are, and no matter if he ever sees them again or not.

Nobita's neighborhood in general is very precious to him as well. He has been shown to get upset whenever the wild areas near it are threatened, and has always tried to either drive the encroachers off or preserve what he can. Nobita has a great love for nature in general, and is often seen trying to befriend animals. He is usually successful.

Since Nobita can time travel, he has gotten to see several historic events and people up close and personal. However, this has often resulted in great sorrow for him, since he and his friends are apparently unable to change great events in the past. But it seems that he can change little things, or events that weren't explicitly recorded. Because of this, he hasn't completely despaired on time travel yet, and still hasn't taken the pessimistic view that "some things can't be changed." If he thinks he can help, he will.

And his attempts to run away from bullies or get to school on time are hindered by his natural clumsiness and lack of athletic ability.

However, Nobita actually has an adventurous streak, as well as a courage one would not expect of him. When his friends are threatened, he immediately steps up to protect them. Not only that, but he has also been known to stand up to the local bully when the safety of others is at stake, or he is just angry enough. Once he gets into protective mode, his cowardliness seems to disappear almost like magic, and he will act almost fearless in defense of his friends-especially Shizuka, his love interest.

However, because of this, he is often motivated by those events-he once met a great Japanese baseball player who would later die in a war bombing attack, and was actually able to win a baseball game thanks to said baseball player's encouragement, and his own determination. Also, it seems that he can change little things, as he was able to resurrect Shizuka's dead dog. Because of this, he hasn't completely despaired on time travel yet, and still hasn't taken the pessimistic view that "some things can't be changed." If he thinks he can help, he will.

Abilities: Nobita is a crack shot with a gun, capable of hitting one can with six bullets in a rapid series of shots. This ability extends to almost any type of gun as well, including the various weird ones that Doraemon has.

Nobita also has access to a secondary pocket that can reach the 4-D space where Doraemon keeps all his inventions. While this space can connect to Doraemon's actual pocket, as well as anything else that can access 4-D space, this function will obviously not be used here. More importantly, there are a variety of inventions that Nobita can pull out, and several that could potentially function as "win buttons." I do not plan to have him use any invention that can mess around with time or any invention that can travel into space. I will also ask before having him use any invention that can control the perceptions, minds, or actions of others, or possibly not bring them out at all. Also, when he brings out any item he hasn't used before, I will try to find evidence of it appearing in the show. At the very least, I would like him to keep the Take-copter, which allows flight, and the Air Cannon, one of his main weapons. I am also willing to have the pocket completely shut down if that makes things easier.

Alignment: Thras-He acts like a coward most of the time and will often try to run away from anything scary, but at the same time the instant his friends are threatened he will stand up and fight.

We arrived at Goldenrod! And I've finally found my Pokemon again! [To demonstrate, he swings his communicator around, displaying the bright expressions of his Lapras, Darumaka, Diglett, and Beedrill.]

Sol! [He turns] Hm? What is it, Tamashii? [The Absol paws at his bag, which is wriggling. Frowning, he bends down, and pulls out an egg. It begins to crack slowly, with him watching in awe. Suddenly, it breaks open, revealing...nothing.]

Huh?

[SUDDENLY, a Duskull appears, its face right up against his.]

Arghhhhhh!

[He falls over spectacularly.]

Tamashii! I thought I'd never see you again! I couldn't stop thinking about you, and Piisuke, and Sobo, and Horu, and Piikayu! Wait...why are only you here?

[There is the sound of sudden rustling, and the Pokegear is pulled out of Nobita's pocket and held so that viewers can see his face.]

Hi everyone! Nobi Nobita is back! [He strikes a pose to show just how cool he is.]

And has anyone seen my other Pokemon? They must be so scared and alone right now! I'd be so happy if you could help!

[Nobita's bed, which he is sitting on, looks extremely rumpled. Just how long has he been asleep? His glasses are also crooked. He's holding two eggs in his arms, the red-and-yellow one he had previously, and a brown one that hasn't shown up before.]

They're cracking! They're cracking! [Even as he speaks, Tamashii and Piikayu appear as well, both looking over his shoulder in excitement. The red-and-yellow one cracks first, revealing a tiny, vividly-colored creature.

It immediately hops onto Nobita's head, then Tamashii's back, then onto the bed, rushing around gleefully.]

Hey, watch out! [Nobita spins around and manages to catch it. However, this causes the brown egg to slip off his lap. He screams and lunges, managing to slow its descent. However, once it touches the ground, it breaks open as well, revealing a brown creature that is somehow already stuck in the ground.

It immediately moves over to Nobita somehow, and nuzzles against his leg.]

You're so cute! Both of you! But what should I name you...?

"Daruma!"

"Dig!"

Wow! [He holds the Darumaka up so that he can look at it more clearly.] You even sound like a daruma doll! I think I'll name you Sobo, after Grandma! [Looking down] And you can be Horu!

[Looking back at the camera] Did anyone else's eggs hatch?

[Nobita is in the Violet inn, lying on the bed, his mouth smeared with chocolate. An empty heart-shaped box is lying next to him, and he's holding a red egg with yellow spots to his chest. The Pokegear has apparently been attached to the ceiling somehow. Tamashii the Absol and Piikayu the Beedrill are staring oddly at him.]

Wow! That was so delicious~! So tasty~! And look, everyone~! I got an egggggggg~! [He holds the egg up, displaying it proudly.] It's going to be my precious~!

02 | Nobita's Second Dinosaur | Video

[It seems that Nobita doesn't quite notice his Pokegear is on, as he is walking down Route 32 with it swinging at his side. An Absol is loping beside him, and a Beedrill flying over his head. He is following the sound of music, and suddenly comes to a stop. The 'gear shows the bottom half of a Lapras in some water, which has apparently been making the noise. Then it falls, apparently dropped from shock. The Beedrill flies down and manages to catch it somehow, then lifts it to record the scene more properly.]

Oh...wow. You look like Piisuke...

[The large creature lowers its head to look at him, and he cautiously raises a hand. It draws back.]

I won't hurt you! I just want to...I just want to pet you a bit. Just a bit.

[Slowly, staring at him some more, the Lapras lowers its head, and he lays a hand on its forehead.]

You feel like him too...

You sing very nicely. [He lays his cheek against the creature's forehead, eyes half-closed.]
